Land in the Dominican Republic:

Foreign citizens. According to the land laws in force in the Dominican Republic, foreign citizens have the right to purchase the sale of land, and have the opportunity to privately acquire structures built on the ground.

Title

Certificate of land ownership. The person whose name is indicated in the title has full ownership of the land, and this certificate serves as a proof of his right to land. Also, the boundaries of the land plot are clearly indicated in the document, they are determined using the special GPS method and the cadastral plan is indicated directly on the land plot (disaster plan).

The owner of the land plot is allowed to make any transactions with the land plot, but a record of each transaction concluded is entered in the Title of the land plot and the contract is notarized and the title is transferred to the registration chamber.
